These Eagle Ostrich leather models are made with Full Quill Leather which comes from the back area between the neck and the tail. It's this area where feathers once grew that we find the best concentration of these diamond shaped quill follicles. This leather is soft, yet very durable and resist drying or cracking traditionally experienced with other leathers such as calfskin.
The shoes feature a unique integrated nylon/spandex sock liner so if you're not someone who likes wearing socks, you'll love this shoe.
The insole is removable for those of use who wear orthotics but otherwise, the insole provides a very well balanced and supportive feel with a wonderful arch support.
